In order to backup your Firefox browser settings you must locate and save your profile.
Your profile will be stored on your hard drive at the following locations on:
Windows 98/Me:
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
Windows Vista/XP/2000: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
